the location was very convenient. i appreciated the complimentary welcome bottle of port (a nice touch). the staff arranged airport transfers for me. the 24-hour concierge provided excellent local recommendations.
The reception area is quite small. It comfortably fits one person at a time.

the breakfast included eggs prepared to order, local iberian meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, and pastries (i loved the fresh squeezed juices). coffee and tea were also standard offerings.

the staff was attentive. they left a handwritten note with pastel de natas. the location felt charming. i found the daily breakfast delicious.
the hotel lacked a kettle, which i really missed. the coffee machine wasn't working one morning. i thought there was no fridge, even with ample room.
